Bruce Clayton Morgan, 65, of Rochester, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 9 2023.  He was born on September 18, 1957 in Knox, IN to the late Glenn Edward and Dorothy Mae [Davis] Morgan.  Bruce graduated from West Central High School in 1975.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator at Ward/Hanson Stone Quarry in Francesville, IN for 36 years.  He was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150.  Bruce enjoyed fishing and golfing.  He also enjoyed going out to eat and making homemade ice cream.  Bruce loved his family very much and will be deeply missed. 


He is survived by:

Michelle (Ryan) Street, Columbia City, IN Daughter

Adam (fiancée: Usha Wyant) Morgan, Star City, IN Son

Allyssa (Michael) Lamorgese, Monticello, IN Daughter

8 Grandchildren: Zachary, Zoey, Wesley, Benson, Barrett, Jakub, Nelle, and Andrew

Jan (Jim) Vollmer, Durham, NC Sister

Bob Morgan, Lebanon, IN Brother

Several Nieces and Nephews

Ellen Morgan Howat, Former Wife


The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date. 

Private Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Pulaski Animal Center or Happy Tails Animal Center.
