Obituary of Elizabeth J. Thompson

Elizabeth J. “Betty” Thompson, 82, of Winamac, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born on August 30, 1940 in Winamac to the late John and Lillian Jane [Oldfield] Vedok. 

Betty enjoyed gardening, shopping, and traveling.  She attended First Christian Church in Winamac.  She adored her cat, Sweetie Pie.  Most of all, Betty loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at the Church of Christ in Itasca, IL on Saturday, June 10, 2023. 

Private Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oak Brook Terrace, IL.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Gentiva Hospice.
