Obituary of John Daniel Matthews Jr.

John Daniel Matthews, Jr., 55, of Winamac, IN passed away at home on Monday, February 20, 2023.  He was born on May 16, 1967 in Hammond, IN to John D. “JD” and Reathey [Flippo] Matthews.  Junior drove semi most of his life.  He loved fishing and hunting.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his children.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 PM EST Friday, February 24, 2023 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Medaryville, IN with Pastor James Rowe officiating.

Private Burial will take place at The Alexander Heinemann Memorial Cemetery in Ora, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
