

Obituary of Glen Munz Gutwein
Glen Munz Gutwein, 94, of Francesville, IN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 31, 2022. He passed away at Franciscan Health Hospital in Rensselaer, IN. Glen was born on July 13, 1928 in Francesville to the late Fred and Katie [Munz] Gutwein. He graduated from Francesville High School in 1948 where he was an enthusiastic and athletic yell leader. Glen served in the US Army and was honorably discharged on March 7, 1951.
Glen married Mary Ann Altvater on June 26, 1960 in Milford, IN. She passed away on December 12, 2016. They enjoyed winters in Bonita Springs, FL. Glen had a special hobby of making shell critters and shell bouquets.
Glen was a lifelong farmer and worked at Gutwein Seeds in Francesville. He was a devoted member of the Francesville Apostolic Christian Church. Glen loved spending time with his family, especially playing games with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EDT Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Apostolic Christian Church in Francesville, IN with the Ministers of the Church officiating.
Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN. The American Legion will conduct Military Graveside Services.
Visitation will be from 2-5 PM EDT Friday, November 4, 2022 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Apostolic Christian HarvestCall or American Heart Association.
