Obituary of Patty L. Heims

Patty L. Heims, 77, of Winamac passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Hickory Creek in Winamac.  She was born on February 13, 1945 in Winamac to the late Kenneth and Pauline [Passmore] Chamness.  Patty attended Winamac High School, later in life earning a GED.  She worked at Brian’s in Monticello for several years and Eaton’s in Winamac for 26 years. 

Patty enjoyed raising tomatoes and fishing on the Tippecanoe River.  She was an avid BINGO and Euchre player.  She was a member of Winamac VFW Post #1728 Auxiliary.  Patty enjoyed attending auctions with her husband, Donald.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 AM – 2 PM EDT Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM EDT Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac with Rev. Don Franklin officiating.

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition) in Winamac. 

Memorial Contributions may be made Pulaski Animal Center.
