Obituary of Dewight DePoy

Dewight DePoy, 56, of Francesville, IN passed away at 10:10 AM Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  He was born on July 5, 1965 in Winamac to Darl and Lorna [Fitz] DePoy.  Dewight graduated from Winamac High School in1984 and attended Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis where he studied auto-mechanics.  He was a hard worker, and in his free time he enjoyed tinkering on motors of all kinds (with his MacGyver-like skills). Dewight worked at Rose Acres Farms in Francesville for over 20 years, and he was planning to retire soon.  Dewight loved his family very much, especially his children.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 3-8 PM EDT Monday, May 9, 2022 at Tippecanoe Christian Church (5292 W. 750 S. Winamac, IN 46996).

Visitation will also be from 10-11 AM EDT Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Tippecanoe Christian Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EDT Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Tippecanoe Christian Church with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. 

Burial will take place at Tippecanoe Cemetery in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
